Performance Marketing Academy

Performance marketing is ever evolving it is at the sharp end of digital disruption and has always had to be responsive and moving at speed to keep pace with technical advances and innovation to ensure it is meeting the changing needs of clients. All this intensified by the seismic shift towards performance and ecommerce channels during the global pandemic. This is reflected in the broad disciplines and skills which come together under the umbrella of performance marketing. 

In November 2021, dentsu launched the Performance Marketing Academy, a dedicated programme for training talent across all digital disciplines at all levels of seniority. Giving opportunities for further growth and progression to our more experienced team members.

The Prince’s Trust is the UK's leading youth charity, providing young people with training courses and support to give them a great start in their career search. Dentsu participate in regular Get Hired events to give young people from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to start their career with us.

Upskilling the next generation

At dentsu, we want to make sure everyone feels prepared and optimistic about their future. That’s why we’re equipping the next generation of talent with the skills to thrive in the digital economy, through our global flagship schools and early careers programme, The Code.

The Code opens the doors of our industry to students from diverse backgrounds, through immersive workshops, work experience opportunities and apprenticeships.

Through these experiences they gain the technical, craft and strategic soft skills required to succeed in the digital marketing industry. 

Students work on cutting edge marketing briefs from real clients to solve the world’s biggest inclusion and sustainability challenges.

The Code supports our goal to enable 100,000 young people to become empowered digital citizens over the next decade, and welcome 5,000 underrepresented people into meaningful work placements. 

When it comes to our people, our commitment is simple: to help them be the best they can be.

And how do we do it? By creating an environment that gives them exposure to different people, ways of thinking and the very best client challenges.  By offering unrivalled, accelerated and diverse experiences.
